Splash out and save an elephant or two

WWF Just Add Water

The River Ruaha in Tanzania is the lifeblood of thousands of people and countless species of animal. So when it runs dry, everyone (and everything) suffers - and in particular the elephants who need more water to survive.

To demonstrate the elephant's plight, we showed a baby elephant looking sad and dusty (who doesn't love baby elephants?), and then with a splash of colour and water (and the line "to save a baby elephant, just add water") everything's alright. Phew.

It is a simple piece that adds a touch of levity to the usually straight-face WWF campaigns.
